11:30 AM En-route Waterfalls Stop to admire the cascading beauty of the Cheeyappara Waterfalls or Valara Waterfalls en-route. A great spot for photos and a refreshing break.
01:00 PM Arrival & Check-in Arrive in Munnar, check into your luxury resort/hotel, and have lunch.
03:30 PM Tea Gardens & Views Visit the Photo Point, surrounded by dense tea bushes, and the Blossom Hydel Park for a relaxing evening by the river.
05:30 PM Optional: Tea Museum Visit the Tata Tea Museum (Closed on Mondays) to learn about the history of Munnar’s tea estates and witness the process of tea making.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing & Transfer to Thekkady

08:00 AM Breakfast & Check-out Enjoy breakfast at the resort.
09:00 AM Munnar’s Scenic Trio Proceed for morning sightseeing: Mattupetty Dam (known for its still reservoir and boating options), Echo Point (a fun stop where your voice echoes back), and the picturesque Kundala Lake.
12:00 PM Start for Thekkady Begin your breathtaking 3.5 to 4-hour drive to Thekkady (Kumily). The drive is an experience in itself, passing through cardamom, pepper, and coffee spice plantations.
04:00 PM Arrival & Check-in Arrive in Thekkady, check into your hotel/resort, and relax.
05:30 PM Cultural Evening Attend a traditional cultural performance. We recommend either a Kathakali (Classical Kerala Dance) or a Kalaripayattu (Ancient Martial Arts) show.
07:30 PM Dinner & Spice Shopping Enjoy dinner. You may also visit the local market for fresh spices.
Night Stay: Thekkady
Day 3: Thekkady Wildlife & Return to Madurai

07:00 AM Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary The key attraction. You can opt for the famous Periyar Lake Boat Safari (booking required) to sight wild elephants, sambar deer, and various bird species.
09:30 AM Spice Plantation Tour A guided walk through a private spice garden to learn about the cultivation of local spices like cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla, and cloves.
11:30 AM Check-out & Departure Check out from your hotel.
12:00 PM Thekkady to Madurai Begin your return journey to Madurai (approx. 3.5 to 4 hours) in your luxury sedan.
04:00 PM Drop-off Arrive in Madurai and be dropped off at your desired location, concluding your tour.

Important Notes for a Luxury Experience

• Flexibility: As this is a private luxury trip, you have flexibility. If you prefer more time in the tea estates, you can spend less time at the dams. Communicate your preferences to your Rengha Travels driver/coordinator.
• Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai): This park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. It opens early, so if you wish to visit, it must replace some of the morning activities on Day 2 and requires an early start. It is also closed from late January to March for the calving season.
• Periyar Boat Safari: Tickets for the boat safari in Thekkady sell out quickly. Ensure they are pre-booked by your tour operator, or be prepared to wait in line very early in the morning.
